Nothing for a Month!

I just realised that I haven't written here for a whole month!!

The truth is that there hasn't really been anything to write about :-( I've been ill so my training for Edinburgh came to a standstill.

I have already started checking out the weather for Rock 'n' Roll Edinburgh half marathon which is only 3 weeks away now. I couldn't help myself! It says it will be 10 degrees with a little rain.
I certainly hope it's not going to be any colder than that.

I am really looking forward to Edinburgh. The big difference this time is that I am truly on my own! I am going by myself, I know no one there, and am not meeting with anyone...

    1. I did 10k of hill training yesterday and actually feel so much better because of it :-)
I'm running in a nature area north of Copenhagen on Friday and then have a 17k on Monday so I should be ready for Edinburgh.

The weather here sucks! It's just snowed loads and been minus during the day. It was a little warmer today so maybe spring is coming...

And our new house is great! And you are both welcome here anytime :-)

    1. Hola Pancho! Yes I don't really mind being alone and talk to everyone and anyone so shouldn't have a problem if I get lonely.

By the way I have found a Spanish teacher over here where I will learn Spanish one on one. I start after Edinburgh so in a few months should be able to write in Spanish with you :-)

  3. Wow, double wammy! A marathon and travel by yourself is hard. You'll be so busy with navagating the logistics of the expo, arrival times, and transportation back from the race, it will fly by fast! Good luck Lynne and have fun!

    1. Thanks Patty. I don't really mind being alone though and have booked a couple of ghost tours to keep me busy in the evening :-)

I'm sure I can drag a few people with me to the pub afterwards ;-)
