It is just so cold in Denmark right now!
Some days it's been down to minus 15 then add the wind chill on top of that and they say it's about minus 25 :-(
I have been out for a couple of runs but haven't managed more than 5k at a time.
The good news is that it has been snowing again :-)
I actually had a great 4k run in the snow over the golf course yesterday. The snow was so deep it covered my trainers!
I must remember not to sign up for a spring marathon again!! Please remind me as I seem to keep forgetting!
Minus 25 C! That is COLD.ReplyDelete
We are not getting our winter rains here..no Sierra snow.....
If you want to swop houses with us every Feb then that's fine with me! You'll almost definately get some snow then, sometimes for the whole month as well...Delete
OMG! I was thinking about the same thing right now, "let's not sign up for a spring marathon again". In my case it's because I have crazy allergies. I was in bed all week, last week. Aghghghg! Sending you some sunshine from SUN Diego! I can't imagine training in such weather. Wow, you are amazing!ReplyDelete
We could always swop homes for a while. No more allergies for you (this cold weather kills everything) and lots of sun for me :-)Delete
On December 2010 I visited Copenhaguen with my girlfriend. The Christmas atmosphere was amazing but the cold weather too. We spent a marvelous and frozen week there. We enjoyed a lot in Denmark. There was a lot of people running in the snow, like you yesterday :). Nowadays, the Siberian wind has come to Spain too. I live in the North of Spain and the temperatures are around -5º. But I'll go this afternoon to do my training.ReplyDelete
You know your spring marathon in Spain will be different.
